  • Anger is a state of heightened emotional intensity.
  • Indicates a mismatch of expectation.
  • It is accomplished by physiological and biological changes in the body.
  • The heart rate and the blood pressure go up along with the level of energy hormones.
  • It is also a state of high hypnotic suggestibility.
  • It is a state of absolute loss of self control



Approaches To Anger

  • A state that inspires aggressive behavior.
  • Conscious and unconscious approaches to deal with anger are
    • Expressing
    • Suppressing (Not Recommended)
  • Expressing angry feelings in an assertive - not aggressive - manner is the healthiest and most appropriate.

  • Ensuring focus on goals & abundance.

  • People who are easily angered generally have a low tolerance of frustration.
  • Causes may be genetic or sociological.
  • People from families with low EQ are "more angry".
